KSVDL Personnel Activities

Presentations and publications:

  • Drs. Giselle Cino and Doug Marthaler attended the American Association of Swine Veterinarians Conference in Orlando, FL. 

  • Dr. Jamie Henningson is a member of the 2019 USAHA Committee on Government Relations. The committee traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with the AVMA, FDA, DHS, and CDC leaders.

  • Dr. Gregg Hanzlicek presented An Update on the KSU-CVM Kansas State-wide Anaplasmosis Study to the Jefferson and Shawnee County Kansas Livestock Association members.

  • Dr. Steve Ensley spoke at the Northwest District of the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association in Colby, KS about the Top Ten Small Animal Poisons.

  • Dr. Mike Moore represented KSVDL at the Kansas State University Cattlemen’s Day in Manhattan, KS.

  • Dr. Gregg Hanzlicek presented Disease Trends and Diagnostic Submission Summaries at the Northwest District of the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association in Colby, KS.

Field Investigations:
  • Adult beef cow and calf morbidity and mortality issues on a western Kansas ranch.
