Necropsy Kits are Available through KSVDL

To streamline necropsy submissions, KSVDL can send your clinic a fully “loaded” necropsy kit for shipping to the laboratory for diagnostic testing.
What is the process?
We send you a box of supplies and instructions on what to submit from a necropsy. You collect samples, pack them back in the box and return it is KSVDL. We process the samples, refill the box and send it back to you. If the box is dirty or damaged we replace it.
What’s included in the kit?
- Insulated shipping box
- Submission form/instructions
- 2 Ice Packs (to be frozen)
- 1 Tube holder with EDTA and additive free tubes
- Quart and gallon bags
- Whirl paks
- 1 jar of formalin
- 2 eswabs
- 2 50ml tubes
How much does it cost?
We will automatically refill and send the kit back to your clinic each time we receive samples from you. The current cost is $24, plus shipping.
