KSVDL is Seeking Small Ruminant Abortion Tissues

To help complete the test validation procedure for a small ruminant abortion tissue-panel, the KSVDL is requesting ovine and caprine abortion tissues from our clients’ herds.

The panel will include: Toxoplasma gondii, Coxiella burnetii, Chlamydophila psittici, Chlamydophila abortus

The recommended tissues include: lung, liver, kidney, skeletal muscle, brain, placenta

During the validation process (through February 2018),
there will not be a charge to you for the testing.

Bovine Neonatal Enteric Diarrhea PCR Panels

For all three panels either 5 gms of feces or 1 gm fresh intestine can be submitted in a sterile container.

This PCR is completed Monday through Friday and expected Turnaround Time is 1-2 days.

1. Bovine Neonatal Enteric Diarrhea PCR Full Panel
   

   Viral pathogens:		Bacterial & Protozoal pathogens:
   Coronavirus		E. coli K99
   Rotavirus (group A)		Salmonella sp.
   Cryptosporidia sp.

2. Bovine Neonatal Enteric Diarrhea PCR Viral Panel

   Coronavirus

3. Bovine Neonatal Enteric Diarrhea PCR Bacterial: Protozoal Panel
   

   Bacterial & Protozoal pathogens:

   E. coli K99

   Salmonella sp.

   Cryptosporidia sp.
